A wheat farmer in Kansas who farms without the use of computers and huge machines. Arthur is what I think of when I think of the Kansas farmer - the backbone of this country. (Can you tell I have lived on a Kansas farm all of my life?) Arthur is made of sculpy with a cloth body.

Amelia Earhart, one of the early pioneers in aviation, was a Kansan. When I was chosen as one of the participants to send an ornament to the White House Christmas Tree in 1999, this was the first person I thought of to represent the history of our country. To visit the White House and see the beautiful tree and the representations of artists of the United States was a highlight of the season. She is ready to take flight. She is made of cloth.

It is typical on the farm to get up too early and you really need some daylight. Just sit down and relax one minute and those cows will be right there waiting on you. This is a cloth doll.

Dollstreet was having a challenge in honor of Cinderella’s 50th year on Disney. As my mother read the story to me long before we heard of Disney, the wicked stepmother always made me shudder! She is made entirely of cloth and carries a key to the upper room where Cinderella is kept.
